We hope you enjoy learning more about The Nature Trust from our new website
We are delighted to have launched our new website for The Nature Trust. Here you will find details about The Nature Trust, our team and our projects around the country. The new native woodlands that we are planting are young now but we’ll add more details and photographs over time.
You’ll also be able to learn about how a new native woodland planted by The Nature Trust watching our animation ‘The Story of a New Native Woodland’. This beautiful piece of work was created by animator and graphic artist Lisa Kearney, an award-winning graduate of Limerick School of Art and Design. Lisa lives in a forest in Co. Galway and drew inspiration for this animation from her observations of the plant and animal life there.
We would like to give a special shout out to Little Blue Studio who designed this beautiful website and to the photographers Joe Ladrigan and João Tudella who captured the beauty of our nature-based projects and the many people working to make them a reality.
These projects could not take place without the funding of our partners and we would like to acknowledge their support for the work that we are doing. We aim to create a legacy of new native Irish woodlands as well as restoring other natural habitats around the country and we can not do this without the generous support of our funders. Our vision also relies on the support and engagement of the communities involved and we look forward to building these relationships as these projects develop.
